Furgate continues, with fake fur and fake letters. After PETA pounced, actor Alan Cumming then criticized fashion queen Lady Gaga for wearing fur. Gaga then responded, sidestepping whether or not she wears actual skinned fur, all the while saying she respects animal rights crusaders, albeit ones who behave like adults. It appeared that fellow pop star Kesha, who is a noted animal rights activist, sent the fur-clad Mama Monster a letter, chiding her for her actions. We were prepping for a cat fight! No pun intended! However, the letter, according to Kesha’s camp, is a fake.

In the leaked (and fake) letter, Kesha, never one to mince words, detailed her disgust at Gaga’s decision to wear fur, and points out that she would expect Gaga to be more sympathetic. The letter takes a sec to congratulate Gaga on the launch of her Born This Way Foundation, so the letter was not all vitriol and venom. “Kesha” also offered a chance to chat further, pop star to pop star.

While Kesha takes her role as an animal ambassador quite seriously, she did not pen this letter, even though it’s on Kesha stationary. According to FUSE, her manager disputed its authenticity, saying it’s not “legit.”

Adele announced a few days ago she is preggers. Now it seems she wants a boy! I wonder if she wants a husband?!

With her pregnancy now public knowledge, Adele has set about attending to some very important, pre-birth duties and that’s decorating the nursery. Rumor has it that the ‘Rumor Has It’ singer is renovating her swanky digs in order to create a nursery that is situated next to her bedroom.

Mr. Paparazzi reports that the singer was waiting for permission from the local planning board to make the changes to the home. A source said, “Adele is delighted she’s finally got the planning permission through — it couldn’t have come at a better time. She went through the usual tedious months of waiting for the council to grant her permission to change the house. Now it’s going to be a real dream home for her and her new family.”

The insider said that Adele plans to spend around a half-million dollars renovating the home so that it’s perfect for her firstborn.

That’s one lucky kid!

Additionally, Diffuser pointed out that Adele did tell Vogue last year that she has a desire for male heirs! She said, “Like, if I ever have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers, whereas girls can be so mean to each other.”

Whether it’s the desired boy or a little girl, let’s hope Adele’s little one is as healthy as can be!

Lady Gaga debuted a brand new piano ballad called ‘Princess Die’ at the Melbourne, Australia stop of her Born This Wall Ball tour last night (June 26). Gaga specifically spelled out the title, confirming that it is indeed “die.” It’s also a play on the name of the late Princess Diana, affectionately dubbed Princess Di.

The song is incredibly melancholy, and Gaga played it while seated at her motorcycle-shaped piano. The Mother Monster said she is not sure whether or not ‘Princess Die’ will appear on her new album, the title of which she will share in September. She did acknowledge that the song is “sad” but insisted that despite this tune’s tone, her new album will not be somber or downtrodden.

Sample lyrics for ‘Princess Die’ are:

“Leave the coffin when I go / Leave my paws and lipstick on so everybody knows” and “Wish that I was strong wish / I wish that I was wrong / I wish that I could cope / But I took pills and left a note.”

The hook is this: “I’ll be a Princess Die / And die with you.”

The song is the stylistic opposite of the recently leaked studio version of the “old” track ‘Glitter & Grease,’ which she has performed live in the past.

Katy Perry surprised KatyCats who attended a special screening of ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ in London on Thursday night (June 7) by showing up and serving popcorn.

Before the film began, Perry popped on stage, saying, “Hi, is it alright that I’m here? We’re going to watch my movie.”

The singer then took a seat among fans, snapped some photos and generally showed that she is living the teenage dream. Perry also served popcorn at the concession stand.

When a fan asked for a hug, and she commanded him to come down onto the stage so she could fulfill his request and he did. She’s Katy Perry and she’s in charge!
