Another AWESOME Katy Perry outfit!!

We all know that aside from being known for shooting fireworks out of her bosom (you can tell us they’re shooting from your heart all you want Katy, they’re coming from your boobs), Katy Perry is also known for her wacky outfits. From whipped cream bras to carousel dresses, she’s done it all. But what’s causing the singer the most drama is her spinning bra.

The bra is in the form of movie reels, presumably to promote her film ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me,’ which… flopped… and the reels actually spin! Clever, but dangerous. ”I keep being told the insurers are worried I will injure my neck,” said Perry to The Sun. “I seriously doubt it could be lethal but they want a new bra designed that will not allow hair to be caught up.”

We don’t doubt it could be lethal. Remember that Cabbage Patch doll that called Snack Time Kids that “chews” food and drops it into the backpack on its back? Yea, a girl got her hair chomped by the doll all the way up to her scalp. We imagine the bra would have the same effect, Katy. Duh!

Even she confirmed its happened once before — with a different bra. ”My hair got caught in the wheels of my spinning peppermint bra and began to coil around and around,” she said. “I’m forced to just go with it so, by the end of the song, it looked quite like I was licking my own t–. What a girl does for her art.” Yea. Okay. LOL

On a side note, even though her movie didn’t do so hot, Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ album saw an increase of 451% in sales due to the film.

Fans of Katy Perry are still buzzing about her Firework Performance on NBC Wednesday! I thought she was amazing!! Now I'm really ready for her movie!

There is no better song for Katy Perry to perform at the annual televised ‘Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular’ in New York City than her smash hit ‘Firework.’ It’s as fitting as it gets, so that’s just what one of pop music’s national treasures did last night (July 4).

The tireless singer, who has been on an intense, transcontinental promotional run for her ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me‘ 3D film, which is in theaters today, performed at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for an audience filled with servicemen and women.

Perry tore through ‘Firework,’ as elaborate and stunning fireworks burst across the sky. She wore an American flag dress with the draped sleeve and her mic handle was bedazzled in stars and stripes. Perry really does make flag fashion look good.

She also performed ‘Part of Me,’ which is decidedly less 4th of July themed, but it’s still one of her biggest hits and the crowd was enjoying every note she sang and every dance move she busted out.

Perry’s backing band dressed like naval officers and her dancers resembled cadets in camouflage. All the sailors in the crowd were jumping up and down and pumping their fists. If this performance didn’t make you feel patriotic, how can you call yourself a proud American?
