After the shake up with Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, and host Steve Jones, its now looking like Katy Perry, and Mariah Carey could be joining the X-Factor. The two are in talks with the show, but Simon really wants them.

If you remember Katy was a guest judge on Idol when Simon was still there, and the most outspoken for runner up of Adam Lambert from that season. Seems like a no brainer to me to add Katy Perry to the show! They should have put her there instead of Nicole Scherziner in the 1st place!

As for Mariah, Simon is still determined to find her a spot on the show.
